Team Telek@m is now looking forward to Season 10, after having been in Division 1 for some time the team has established itself as one of the strongest teams. The manager has sacked a lot of riders to invest mainly on Dirk whose transfer cost is surely in Top 5 of all transfers and on the training of sprinters.
Dirk has proved to be a good asset to the team but for the coming season Didier Brunel is surely going to ask more from him so that th board of directors feel that every single Dollar invested on him was worth it.
This season the team will concentrate on finding a sprinting Captain and their biggest hopes is to finish the training of their 2 last sprinting riders but the manager fears that they prouve to have a low AV like all the others who have been trained during last season.
The main objectives for season 10:
.Finish the season in Top 15
.Place Dirk in top 5 of Germany Tour
.Get a jersey or a trophy to start the collection
.Maxed all sprinters
.Take back number 1 England ranking
As we can see from the objectives the climbing team may be neglected and more emphasis will be put on the sprinting team... This could be part of their tactic to take back England number 1 ranking, Training a very good sprinting captain who will get points regularly and hopefully could beat Fergal Lemire during some races and adding these points with those that the climbers will win could prove enough to be ahead of Cway.
There are some rumors that says that Kurt will leave the team at the age of 31 in order to respect a deal that have bring a sprinter to the team.The team manager did not want to give us more information on this but he did not refute the statement.
Didier brunel Stated
"For the time we have the second best climbing rider in Dirk who is not too far behind Äme Anderberg in the ranking but the fact is that there is a lot of points and money to be gained from sprints as if you study the ranking well you will sell that most of the riders on the first page are sprinters and we are going to adapt our team to remain competitive. We have made contact with a lot of teams inquiring about their sprinters recently but this solution will only be the taken into consideration if the sprinters already in the team proves not to have what is needed to fulfill the teams ambitions."
